Modify code generator settings and add configuration code to generate hooks for
calling the Lookup API from Python.

Update package version to 1.0.10 (as new version is backwards compatible
despite adding support for a whole new API).

Update changelog with changes in this release, and fix some issues with
earlier changelog entries.

Set version to rc1 for testing.
