stop delete confirmation dialog flashing

Dr Rich Wareham requested to merge github/fork/rjw57/stop-delete-confirmation-flash into master

As noted in #41 (closed), the delete confirmation dialog flashes when dismissed. Re-work the delete confirmation flow to keep the asset URL around so that it can be used to keep the delete confirmation dialog populated as it fades away.
