Contrib modules that need maintenance

I wanted to start a discussion on what we do when we have module that may help a scenario for us that can't be solved in other ways, but is only dev mode and under minimal maintenance. See - https://www.drupal.org/project/lpb/

This module combines two modules - Layout Paragraphs that we are using, with Paragraphs Browser that allows the editor to be able to have a nicer editor experience for selection of the component. Ie, we can add a better view of what the component would look like rather than an icon and a better description.
