Good news, bad news: I found the pipeline (https://gitlab.developers.cam.ac.uk/uis/devops/react-components/navigation-panel/-/jobs/377164) but it is broken by this change :(.

Gah! Sorry about that - I've made a fix (and properly tested this time), as well as adding a build CI job for non master branches just as confirmation that this fix is good.
