Problems with importing projects from GitHub

I've been trying to import a project from the old MISD GitHub (https://github.com/misd-service-development/drupal-cambridge-theme/). The project imports, but only seems to bring the oldest branches and commits and there are several years worth of commits / branches / tags missing. Would someone be able to take a look / help with this?
