/explore seems rather out-of-date when not logged in

When logged in via Raven, https://gitlab.develops.cam.ac.uk/explore lists multiple projects which are both set to public visibility (i.e. they have the globe icon, rather than than the shield or the padlock) and which have updated in the last few days. Right now, some repos which are public and very-recently-updated are https://gitlab.developers.cam.ac.uk/uis/devops/iam/card-database/card-client , https://gitlab.developers.cam.ac.uk/uis/devops/iam/card-database/card-api , and indeed this one (https://gitlab.developers.cam.ac.uk/uis/devops/devhub/docs)

However, when I view the /explore page when not logged in, I see a very different list (obviously ignoring any projects I see when logged in which are internal or private): the top few projects listed are https://gitlab.developers.cam.ac.uk/ih357/20201102_tutorial ("2 months ago"), https://gitlab.developers.cam.ac.uk/ssb22/4dml ("2 months ago"), https://gitlab.developers.cam.ac.uk/ih357/20201102_tutorial ("3 months ago" ...)
